By Some of the biggest names in the Korean entertainment industry will attend the Asia Artist Awards 2023 in the Philippines on December 14.
The eighth edition of the awards ceremony will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan which has a seating capacity of over 50,000 — making it the world’s largest mixed-use indoor theater, according to the Guiness World Records.
The AAA, which is considered as Asia’s Oscars and Grammy Awards, recognizes Asian artists in film, television, and music. The annual ceremony is graced by Korean actors and artists, as well as other Asian talents.
IVE’s Jang Won-young, soloist Kang Daniel, and ZEROBASEONE’s Seong Han-Bin will serve as hosts for the event.
According to reports of Korean news outlet Star News, more than 20 K-pop groups and singers are so far confirmed to perform at the highly anticipated awards night:

– Stray Kids
– ITZY
– The Boyz
– Kwon Eunbi
– Kim Jae Joong

– Lapillus
South Korea-based Japanese boy group &TEAM is also part of the lineup of performers.
This will also be the first time NewJeans, Le Sserafim, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, TEMPEST, and Kep1er will perform up close for their Filipino fans.
But Happee Sy-Go, COO of local concert promoter PULP Live World, earlier said that Filipino artists are also expected to attend the awarding ceremony.

“Start Up” actor Kim Seon-ho and “Reply 1988” star Lee Dong-hwi have already visited the Philippines before. On the other hand, “Business Proposal” stars Ahn Hyo-seop and Kim Se-jeong, and “The Penthouse” star Kim Young-dae will have their respective fan meetings and concert in October in Manila.
Lee Jun-ho, who will also meet his Filipino fans in November, bagged the top prize for acting in last year’s awarding held in Nagoya, Japan. Also named big winners then were K-pop groups Seventeen, NewJeans, Stray Kids, and IVE.
Tickets will go on sale on November 12.
